Kristen den Hartog

Kristen den Hartog is the author of four novels, as well as the family memoir The Occupied Garden, co-written with her sister, Tracy Kasaboski. Her first novel, Water Wings, was part of Knopf’s New Face of Fiction series, and her work has been nominated for both the Trillium Award and the Toronto Book Award. Her latest novel, And Me Among Them, won the Alberta Book Publishing Award for Trade Fiction. She and her sister are at work on a second family memoir, largely set in Victorian England, and due out with Douglas & McIntyre in 2018. Kristen lives in Toronto with her husband and daughter.
