Luba Lesychyn (le-si-shin) is the author of Theft By Chocolate, a sassy museum heist mystery about a woman looking for chocolate, love and an international art thief in all the wrong places. The book, which has ranked in the top 100 of's Mystery & Thrillers genres and has four-star ratings on and Goodreads, has been exciting readers with its unusual combination of Bridget-Jones's-Diary like humour and thriller elements.

Soon after finishing her graduate studies in history, Luba landed on the doorstep of Canada’s largest museum, the Royal Ontario Museum (the backdrop of Theft By Chocolate) where she worked for more than 20 years. Luba is a graduate of the Humber School of Writer's Creative Writing Program and is both a novelist and a screenwriter.

After leaving the museum, Luba worked for several years in an administrative and research capacity for a private museum consulting firm (Cultural Innovations) with offices in Toronto and London (UK) as well as for an independent television and film production company. She currently works in the educational sector and teaches yoga in her home town of Toronto.
