Penelope S. Hawtrey

Penelope Hawtrey grew up in Southern Ontario, and then moved away to attend University where she earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree. Penelope’s publications in literary journals include Potluck Magazinethe Furious Gazellethe Thieving Magpie, Crack the Spine, and Drunk Monkeys.  In 2019, she released her first children's fantasy novel, titled, Dragon in the Mirror: Into Canonsland. The second book, The Bridge of Olin, (released November 2021) is currently available as an ebook. 

Penelope's a travel enthusiast and a sunny day runner who lives in Canada with her husband. At home, she continues to weave stories based in reality and fantasy with a cup of earl grey tea never far away.
