Jamaican born Peta-Gaye Nash writes fiction, children's books and poetry. She lives and works in Mississauga, Ontario, with her husband and four children. Her Caribbean heritage inspires much of her work. In 2015, she won the Marty Awards for Emerging Literary Art.

Presentations are tailored for students' needs but include Black History, growth and development as a writer, where stories come from. Presentations include a reading and Q & A.

Writer's Craft workshops are tailored to suit the needs of the students to include free writing, character development, plot, overcoming fear and writer's block.
