Sharon Baltman
Sharon Baltman began writing creatively in 1992 using a manual typewriter during a year-long stay on an Israeli kibbutz in an attempt to win a computer in a writing contest. She lost the competition, bought a computer and pursued the long path of studying the craft.
Her articles have appeared in ‘Lives Lived’ columns in the Globe and Mail, on-air in ‘First Person Singular’ on the CBC, in the anthology Living Legacies II, and in the Canadian Medical Association Journal and the Medical Post. She self-published her memoir, Escape From The Bedside, in October 2013.
She lives in Toronto working as a physician psychotherapist.
