Sheila Peters

Sheila Peters, born and raised in Powell River, studied languages at SFU before completing a degree in English and Journalism at Carleton. Since moving to Smithers, a small town in northwestern B.C., she has completed her MA, worked as a weaver, environmental and human rights activist, and college instructor. She writes in a variety of genres including poetry, fiction and non-fiction.
