Sylvia Warsh

Sylvia Maultash Warsh was born in Germany to Holocaust survivors. She grew up in Toronto where she earned an MA in linguistics from the University of Toronto. Her parents' experiences during the war sparked an interest in history that has influenced Sylvia’s fiction. She has had articles, short stories, and poetry published in journals and anthologies, and teaches creative writing to seniors. Her first three books were an historical mystery series set in 1970sToronto. With her fourth book she is branching out into literary fiction.
