T. Ann Brennan

T. Ann Brennan was born in Saint John, New Brunswick of a military family. She spent her youth living in a number of different locations in the maritimes. In 1957 she moved to Bath, New Brunswick to teach highschool business education, and two years later married and moved to the farm in Johnville where she has remained for 35 years. During her years living in rural New Brunswick she has been involved in politics, business, raising a family of six children, adventure and writing. She is presently working on a historical novel based in Ireland and Canada. Her poetry has been published in Cormorant; her heritage plays presented by Johnville Players. The Real Klondike Kate has been adapted for stage and segments were presented in Ireland in the summer of 1992. She also played the part of Klondike Kate. The theatre presentation was part of a New Brunswick cultural group which attended IMPACT 1992, hosted by the city of Derry, Northern Ireland. It was also performed in Carlingford, County Louth, previously in Canada.
