Yvonne Blackwood

Yvonne Blackwood is an author who craves knowledge. She is the author of three adult non-fiction books, Into Africa a Personal Journey; Will That Be Cash or Cuffs? and Into Africa, the Return. She has also published three children’s picture books in the Nosey Charlie Adventure Series-Nosey Charlie Comes to Town, Nosey Charlie Goes to Court, and Nosey Charlie Chokes on a Wiener. She is an award-winning short story writer and has contributed to several anthologies including Human Kindness, Canadian Voices, and Wordscape. She has published articles in More of Our Canada, InTouch, and Green Prints magazines. She has also written numerous articles for several newspapers including the Toronto Star.
Yvonne is an alumnus of the Humber College School of Writers. She is currently completing an English Major degree at York University.
