Yvonne Blackwood

Yvonne Blackwood was born in Manchester, Jamaica. She immigrated to Canada in 1976. She studied at the University of Technology, Jamaica and Ryerson University. She was a career banker for 35 years. She is an author, columnist, speaker and world traveller. She has published 3 books, her newest offering is "Into Africa: The Return". A novel is in the works. Yvonne previously wrote a bi-weekly column in the Toronto Star, a weekly column in, Pride Newsmagazine and a monthly column in The African Connection. She writes a quarterly article for InTouch, RBC's pensioners magazine.
