Biography

Sally Meadows is an award-winning author, speaker, and singer/songwriter who currently resides in Saskatchewan. Her former work as a scientist, science entertainer, science outreach educator, and teacher has given her a rich background to draw from for her five children's books, many of which incorporate science/nature facts that help raise science literacy to kids and the general public. Since 2015, Sally has spoken to, and delighted, thousands of elementary school students who have participated in her hands-on sciences activities during her author readings. Sally is an advocate for children on the autism spectrum and raises autism awareness through her book The Two Trees. Sally has also facilitated workshops, and/or written articles for adults and/or children on, writing, writing as a business, organization, and songwriting; and her award-winning short stories have been published in a number of anthologies in both the mainstream and faith-based markets. Sally is an experienced scientific editor, and is a professional proofreader and copy editor specifically interested in science-related publications, children's books, and faith-based literature.
