Biography

Anne McDonald’s latest book, Miss Confederation: The Diary of Mercy Anne Coles, is the chronicle of a young unmarried woman’s experiences in the social whirlwind of Confederation. Anne is an award-winning author whose novel, To the Edge of the Sea won the Saskatchewan First Book Award. Her work has appeared in literary journals, including St. Peter’s College the SocietyCanada’s History, at the 2016 Spring Festival of New Plays, and on CBC Radio. Anne teaches improvisation, and creative writing. She lives in Regina, Saskatchewan.
