Nancy-Gay Rotstein
BIO
Biography

Nancy-Gay Rotstein is a writer of both poetry and fiction.  Her books of poetry include Through the Eyes of a Woman, Taking Off, and China: Shockwaves.  Her latest collection is This Horizon and Beyond: Poems Selected and New, which has been published in Canada, the United States, Australia and the United Kingdom.  Rotstein's novel, Shattering Glass, about women balancing career and family has been published in twelve countries including Canada and the United States and has recently been published in a new Canadian edition.  She received a Master’s degree in Canadian history from the University of Toronto.  She also has a law degree and is a member of the Ontario Bar.  Nancy-Gay Rotstein has served on the Board of Directors of the Canada Council for the Arts and Telefilm Canada.  She also served on the National Library Advisory Board of Canada and the Public Lending Right Commission.
