Susan McCaslin’s recently released volume of poetry, Consider (Aeolus House, 2023), explores the figure of Jesus, not as “God Almighty,” the only person in history to raise his dead body from the dead, or the Christ of narrow or rigid belief systems, but as a human wisdom teacher, healer, and activist.
