Workshop Description:

Through NOW HEAR THIS! SWAT (Students, Writers and Teachers) program, I had the opportunity to work in the classroom for six years as a writer-in-residence. Over the course of those semesters, with the help of the teachers and students, I developed a variety of workshops on imagery, perspective, screenwriting, poetry, media literacy, constructive criticism, metaphor, etc.  I am willing to work with you to find which of those workshops best suit your creative, and curriculm, requirments.

Some of the students’ writings from the SWAT program were published in Descant Arts & Letters Publications: the Armadillo, the Barracuda, the Capybara, and the Dromedary.
